- Competition is open to Sevier County residence only,
except livestock and poultry shows

- 1.The Fair Grounds will be open to the public on Monday, September 6th, 2009 and will close Saturday, September 11th at 10:00 pm during published Fair operating hours.
2. No disorderly conduct of any kind will be permitted. A security force sufficient to preserve order and enforce the rules will be on the grounds at all times.
- 3. No animal will be permitted to run at large on grounds. Every animal and article for exhibition upon the grounds shall be under the control of the Sevier County Fair Association, and while every precaution will be taken for the safekeeping of same, the Sevier County Fair Association will in no case be responsible for any loss, escape, damage or accident that may occur.
- 4. No person or persons will be allowed to remain on the Fair Grounds during the night, except Officers of the Sevier County Fair Association, Livestock exhibitors, their groomers and their assistants.
- 5.No intoxicating liquor will be allowed on the grounds.
- 6. No premium will be awarded on any animal or exhibit deemed unworthy by the judges.
- 7.All individual exhibits must be entered and in place not later than Noon Monday, September 6th, 2010 and must remain on exhibit until September 11th, except dogs which will be on the grounds the day they are to be shown. Except as shown under departments.
- 8. All entries must be made in the name of the bona fide owner. Any violations will be disqualified.
9. No Fair chairman, committeeman, head of department, superintendent or employee, has any authority to contract any debt of any nature unless the amount is first approved by the Fair management.
- 8. Persons trespassing on the grounds, climbing over the fence, or otherwise fraudulently gaining admission will be arrested and prosecuted.
- 7. Entries of any kind, in any department, are made subject to the owner’s risk.
8. The Sevier County Fair Association assumes no responsibility whatever in case of fire, theft or any other contingency which might happen. All entries are made on this basis. Each exhibitor is expected to take care, and maintain his own exhibit. The Sevier County Fair Association assumes no responsibility whatever.
- 9. All entries must be made to the Fair director and their staff not later than Monday, September 6th, 2010 on regular entry blanks furnished by the Sevier County Fair Association, Incorporated. Pre registration is encouraged and entrée forms may be downloaded from www.myseviercountyfair.com web site. Except as indicated above. Premium checks will be sent to the address furnished on the entre form.
- 10. The Sevier County Fair Association, Incorporated, reserves the right to change any and all rules and declares off any classes of premiums because of acts of God, excessive rains or causes not within the power of the management control.
- 11.The Executive Committee of the Sevier County Fair Association, Incorporated, reserves the right to rescind up to 75% of any or all premiums offered in any class should weather conditions or unfavorable circumstances be such as to cause a material decrease in attendance or gate receipts.
- All automobiles brought on the grounds are at the risk of the owner, Sevier County Fair Association will not be responsible for automobiles or any part of their contents. All vehicles shall be parked in the designated parking areas.
- 12. Exhibits removed before Sunday, September 11th will forfeit any prize money to be awarded.
- All premiums will be paid by check before September 30th, 2010. Checks are void after 90 days. Checks older than 90 days will not be re-issued.
- 13. One Exhibitor Pass (useable for entire fair week with photo ID) will be issued to each exhibitor entering 6 entries or more. Only one exhibitor pass will be issued per exhibitor regardless of the number of entries submitted. Children under 10 years of age will not be issued a free exhibitor pass due to free admission to the fair.
- 14. Exhibitors (including department heads) must leave the vicinity of show during judging.
- All paintings must be ready to hang with proper equipment. Any paintings not ready to hang will not be displayed.
- 15. All entries in the photography dept. must be matted in either black or white matt. No framed photos allowed.
